In the time that I have known Shelby, I have witnessed her passion and development as a writer on full display. Whether it be in a professional setting where she allows the reader to discover the most intimate of feats in a spellbinding feature on a first-generation student, or in a late hour script sharing session over Google Drive, I have been grateful to have had an opportunity to witness a true talent only become greater at their craft.

Fearless in allowing her dreams to guide her in drafts of screenplays, I have had the great pleasure to read Ms. Parker’s work that transports me to an imagination that undoubtedly deserves to have an opportunity to be the blueprint for pieces of cinema and television in the decades to come.
